Calm Games (“we”, “us”) is an independent project — a small collection of relaxing puzzle games at getcalmgames.com. You can reach us any time at hello@getcalmgames.com. This policy explains what information we and our partners collect, and how it is used.
The games are free to play and supported by ads. You don’t need to create an account or give us your name or email to play. We don’t sell your personal information. Our advertising partner (Google) may use cookies to show and measure ads.
So you can pick up where you left off, we save your game progress, your daily streak, your coins, and your preferences in your own browser (local storage). This stays on your device.
To understand which games people enjoy and whether our ads reach interested players, we keep a simple, anonymous record tied to a random ID stored in your browser — for example, which games were opened and how often, your device type and approximate region (from your browser’s time zone), and, for visitors who arrive from one of our ads, the ad reference in the link. This record does not include your name, email, or precise location, and it is not used to identify you.
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and — where permitted — to show ads tailored to your interests based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can turn off personalised ads in your Google Ad Settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising from many providers at aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site.
We also offer free games as apps on the Apple App Store, such as Word Search. These apps work the same way: no account, no name or email required to play, and we don’t sell your personal information.
Calm Games is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the date above when we do.
